Preveli 'Wild Thing' Sauvignon Blanc 2013

94 points

"A really interesting look at sauvignon blanc.  it's been treated with kid gloves through whole bunch pressing and fermentation in new and aged French oak.  The result is a sauvignon wine with a bit of style and panache.  Lots of spicy characters on the nose and a palate that has such depth and persistence yet all held into a focused, persistent finish.  Excellent style."

Preveli Cabernet Merlot

Pinot Rosé 'Wild Thing' 2014

A parcel was selected from the Estate's distinct mirco climate and hand picked, cold soaked for 48 hours, pressed and barrel fermented briefly in aged french oak. This minimalist handling evokes a vibrant nose of water melon sorbet with a palate of aniseed infused redcurrant, with a savoury dry finish.

Australian Wine Companion 2015

"An elegant and deliberately understand wine, light to medium-bodied, smooth and supple; it ha spure flavours of blackcurrant and reedcurrent, the tannins fine and ripe, the oak subtle. Scores for what it is not, as much as it is".
