Preveli 'Wild Thing' Sauvignon Blanc 2013

94 points

"A really interesting look at sauvignon blanc.  it's been treated with kid gloves through whole bunch pressing and fermentation in new and aged French oak.  The result is a sauvignon wine with a bit of style and panache.  Lots of spicy characters on the nose and a palate that has such depth and persistence yet all held into a focused, persistent finish.  Excellent style."

"Full purple/red/pink colour. Rich, ripe cherry and blackberry aromas.  The palate is soft and rich, full and smooth, loaded with flavour.  it's clean and dry on the palate yet soft and smooth.  I could enjoy this."

Australian Wine Companion 2015

"An elegant and deliberately understand wine, light to medium-bodied, smooth and supple; it ha spure flavours of blackcurrant and reedcurrent, the tannins fine and ripe, the oak subtle. Scores for what it is not, as much as it is".
